Realignment and the playoffs explained.
The top four finishing teams in each new conference will play off, with 1 playing 4 and 2 playing 3. The four remaining teams will then be ranked 1 through 4 somehow (probably regular season points) and will then play off to decide the Cup.
Simple enough. Just add the AHL crossover rule, and we’re golden.
For as much as I rag on the Hershey Bears (which I do a lot), there are a few things they do right. Their annual teddy bear toss is one of them. The throwing of teddy bears is triggered as of the first home goal of the game, and this video is the tossing of the bears tonight. Unreal.
Just imagine if Jordin Tootoo blasted MAF like that. Oh, my God, the reaction would force me to drop whatever device I was using to tweet and run away.
I hope Simon Despres doesn’t catch any blowback from the league regarding his “hurrireffs” tweet. Then again, I wouldn’t put it past the league getting butthurt about that, what with the state of the league as it is….
